Angela Carr

Angela Carr’s most recent book of poetryThe Rose Concordance (BookThug 2009) masquerades as a translation of a keyword index to a medieval French poem; her first book was Ropewalk (2006). A chapbook, Risk Accretions, part of a bound set called Handwerk, was recently published by Beautiful Outlaw Press (2009). Her writing appears in a number of journals and anthologies such as Open Letter, Poetry Wales, Translating Translating Montréal, and online in textsoundJacket and Action Yes. She sporadically produces limited edition handmade books under the collapsible Tente press feminist imprint. Angela is a translator from French to English and is presently (collapsed) researching and translating non-action and social engagement in the writings of Arthur Rimbaud.
