Advanced Writing Workshop (Poetry & Prose)

Duration (10 weeks) 13 May – 15 July 2011 (Fridays) 6-8PM

Designed to showcase new works in both poetry and prose by currently practicing writers, this ten-week course will act as an informal “salon” wherein all participants, including the instructors, will share their current writing projects in a generally collegial atmosphere of critical response. The workshop’s leaders will also recommend texts to each participant that they think will advance and broaden his/her reading parameters. In the hope of provoking writers to move themselves into new realms, mutual critiques should be forthright, transparent and compassionate. Both instructors will entertain pertinent questions by email at any time during the run of the course.
